Als ich heute Morgen um 9.30 Uhr beim Frühstück sass, hörte ich das erste Tragflügelboot des Tages angekommen - das bedeutete also, dass ich nicht mehr auf Filicudi gestrandet war! : )

When I was having breakfast this morning at 9:30 am, I heard the first hydrofoil of the day arrive - that meant I was no longer stranded on Filicudi! : )

Um 10 Uhr fuhren Grazia und Lorenzo alle Gäste des Hotel La Canna mit 2 Fahrzeugen zum Hafen, ich kaufte mein Ticket und 25 Minuten später verliess die Liberty Lines Filicudi. Mit ziemlich hohem Wellengang machten wir Zwischenhalte in Rinella und Santa Marina auf Salina, Lipari und Vulcano. Die Fenster waren vollgespritzt, so war es ziemlich schwierig brauchbare Fotos zu schiessen! Auf der knapp 2 ½-stündigen Reise surfte ich im Internet, als plötzlich eine Seite meines Telefonanbieters Swisscom auftauchte: Ich sei eine der 10 glücklichen Gewinner, die ein neues Galaxy S10+ gewonnen hat! - Entweder war es ein Trickbetrug oder ich werde von unglaublich viel Glück auf dieser Reise begleitet...

At 10 am Grazia and Lorenzo drove all the guests of the Hotel La Canna with 2 vehicles to the harbour, I bought my ticket and 25 minutes later the Liberty Lines left Filicudi. With quite high waves we made stops in Rinella and Santa Marina on Salina, Lipari and Vulcano. The windows were totally splashed so it was pretty hard to shoot usable photos! On the almost 2 1/2 hours’ journey I surfed in the internet when suddenly a page of my telephone provider Swisscom showed up: I was one of the 10 lucky winners who won a new Galaxy S10 +! - Either it was a con game or I am accompanied by incredible luck on this trip...

Um 12:45 Uhr kam ich in Milazzo an, spazierte quasi über die Strasse und erreichte das Petit Hotel, von wo ich meine Reise zu den Äolischen Inseln vor 3 Wochen startete... ich bezog mein hübsches Zimmer und machte mich gleich an die Arbeit: Jetzt galt es auch einen Plan (A und B!) bis zum 10. Oktober auszuarbeiten - dann fliege ich nämlich zurück in die Schweiz.

At 12:45 pm I arrived in Milazzo, walked virtually across the street and reached the Petit Hotel, from where I started my trip to the Aeolian Islands 3 weeks ago... I moved into my pretty room and went straight to work: In addition to my blog I had to work out a plan (A and B!) until October 10, when I fly back to Switzerland.

Ich fühlte mich sehr müde vom vielen Reisen, den eindrücklichen und fantastischen Erlebnissen sowie zu wenig Schlaf... Am späteren Nachmittag machte ich eine Pause und schlenderte durch das hübsche Milazzo. Ich traf einige bekannte Gesichter und genoss einen Prosecco auf der Terrasse der Trattoria Il Pignataro. Rocco und Santino kümmerten sich so rührend um mich, dass ich am Abend zurückkehrte um dort mein Abendessen einzunehmen: Ich wählte Antipasti aus der Vitrine und bestellte dazu eine Dorade, die für mich filetiert wurde, da sie mir ansahen, dass ich zum Umfallen müde war...

I felt very tired from travelling, impressing and fantastic experiences as well as lack of sleep... Later in the afternoon I took a break and strolled through pretty Milazzo. I met some familiar faces and enjoyed a prosecco on the terrace of the Trattoria Il Pignataro. Rocco and Santino took such a touching care of me that I returned for dinner later in the evening: I selected antipasti from the display case and ordered a sea bream, which was filleted for me, because they noticed that I was ready to drop...
