Heute
beim Schwimmen erwischt hatte.
: ))
This morning I woke up with terrible back pain (in my sacral region)... I could barely get out of bed! The horror scenarios of about 10 years ago came to my mind and I hoped, thinking positive, that it was simply the last outbreak!? And movement is always good anyway, so shortly after 9 am I was already jogging on the pebble beach... After the 1.5 km long beach a small path leads along the coast heading north to Spiaggia Bianca, where I was yesterday after my Island tour by rental car. Today the beach was deserted - the Italians are rather late starters... ; ) Only Agustin made the Blu Lounge ready for his guests and was on hand with Aloe Vera when a jellyfish kissed me while swimming. During a double espresso, we discussed the predicament of his homeland, Argentina, which hopefully will soon change for the better with good and open education and less patriotism…
After a hearty breakfast at the Hotel Amarea a lot of work with fantastic internet was announced... many photos from yesterday of my island tour had to be edited and selected (for my blog I also downsize them), as well as the planning of the next 2 islands was on my programme: Panarea and Stromboli - I cannot wait, because I have received incredible offers! : ))

Almost painless and a little hungry I set off for dinner at La Bussola, which is just around the corner. Today there was spigola (sea bass) on ratatouille on the menu - something completely different! : ) But the portion was so tiny that I needed Hansruedi’s saying: So small and already a real fish?? Luckily Ivan (the Terrible, as I called him - and he could also laugh about this wholeheartedly!) has got a lot of humour! - I did not really mind eating a bit less, first I ate enough anyway here in Italy and secondly I was already looking forward to the ice cream of Papisca... Nevertheless, I could not resist other following comments: Ask the chef, if it was a baby... or: Give me another glass of wine, so I'll forget about it! - We had a big laugh and most likely Lipari is just expensive??

In the afternoon I allowed my back to rest on a deck chair on the beach... when things got worse and I did not know how to get out of the beach chair, I dragged myself back to the hotel and threw in 2 Voltarens... something I only do in the utmost extreme emergency! :(

Fast
Ecke gelegene La Bussola. Heute gab es Spigola (Seebarsch) auf Ratatouille -
mal was ganz anderes!
