Morgen war es bewölkt aber bereits 28 Grad… also ein idealer Reisetag! : ) Nach
dem Frühstück im Hotel Amarea fuhr ich mit dem Hotelshuttle nach Lipari Stadt
zum Hafen um das Liberty Lines Tragflügelboot um 11:40 Uhr nach Panarea zu
nehmen…

Nach
einem Zwischenhalt auf Salina erreichte ich eine Stunde später Panarea. Die Liberty
Lines machen einem das Reisen auf den Äolischen Inseln mit ihren super schnellen
Verbindungen einfach - schade nur, dass man nicht draussen sitzen kann (es
würde einen sehr wahrscheinlich wegpusten!) und man auch keine Pakete für alle
Inseln kaufen (wie zum Beispiel auf den Azoren) kaufen kann.
After a stop on Salina I arrived at the island of Panarea one hour later. Liberty Lines make travelling easy on the Aeolian Islands with their super fast connections - just a shame that you cannot sit outside (most likely it would blow you off the boat!) and you cannot buy packages for travelling to all the islands (like for example on the Azores).

Ich
musste nur gerade über den Schiffsteg marschieren und schon war ich bei Da
Francesco, wo ich 2 Nächte gebucht hatte. Was mich hier erwartete, wiegte mich
in den 7. Himmel: Mauro hat mir das beste Zimmer mit atemberaubender Terrasse
und Aussicht gegeben! : )) Mit Sicht auf Stromboli, Basiluzzo und Dattilo machte
ich mich an die Arbeit meines Postes von gestern und wollte das Zimmer bzw.
meine Terrasse kaum verlassen…
I just had to walk over the pier and I found myself at Da Francesco, where I had booked for 2 nights. What awaited me here rocked me into the seventh heaven: Mauro gave me the best room with a breath-taking terrace and view! : )) With a view to Stromboli, Basiluzzo and Dattilo I started work of my post of yesterday and hardly wanted to leave the room respectively my terrace...

Nach getaner Arbeit machte ich mich auf die kleinste und feinste Insel des Archipels zu erkunden – genau richtig, denn gerade verliessen die letzten Tagestouristen Panarea! : ) Ein wunderschöner Spaziergang führte mich durch das schmucke Dorf San Pietro mit seinen ebensolchen Geschäften: Hier wird sehr viel Liebe in die kleinsten Details investiert und die Insel funkelt, auch wenn Sonne sie momentan nicht erglänzen liess!
After I had finished my work for today, I set out to explore the smallest but most excellent island of the archipelago - just on time, because the last day tourists were leaving Panarea! : ) A beautiful walk took me through the pretty village of San Pietro with its exactly the same shops: Here they invest a lot of love into the smallest details and the island sparkles, even if the sun didn’t enlighten it for now!

Weiter
ging es der Küste entlang nach Dautto, wo ich im Ristorante Zimmari einen
Prosecco genoss, bevor es weiter über Hügel nach Cala Junco ging:
Atemberaubend!!! Mit Kerrie und Appie aus Australien genoss ich die
neolithischen Ausgrabungen in Punto Milazzese sowie das Spektakel des Sonnenuntergangs… Zurück nach
San Pietro durfte ich mit ihnen und dem bestellten Taxi fahren. : )
Zum
Abendessen setzte ich mich auf die Terrasse der Trattoria Da Francesco, wo ich Olivia
aus Rio de Janeiro traf, die mir schon auf dem Tragflügelboot aufgefallen war…
sie setze sich zu mir an den Tisch, wir genossen ein hervorragendes Essen mit
einer Flasche Linsolita (Weisswein der Insel) und spannende, anregende
Gespräche… - was für ein Tag! : ))

I continued along the coast
to Dautto, where I enjoyed a Prosecco at the Ristorante Zimmari, before climbing
over the hill to Cala Junco: Absolutely breathtaking!!! With Kerrie and Appie
from Australia I enjoyed the Neolithic excavations of Punta Milazzese and the spectacle of the
sunset... Back to San Pietro I was invited to drive with them and the taxi they
had ordered. : )
For dinner I took a table
on the terrace of the Trattoria Da Francesco, where I met Olivia from Rio de
Janeiro, who I had already noticed on the hydrofoil... she came over to my
table, we enjoyed an excellent meal with a bottle of Linsolita (white wine of the
island) and exciting, stimulating conversations… - what a day! : ))
